Whether she’s coordinating the How Philly Moves photo sessions, or roping me into one of her performances, it’s always a pleasure to work with Anna Drozdowski. She’s been collaborating on Blindspot with the excellent Dustin Hurt of Bowerbird, and was in full-on planning mode when I took this shot of her in my office.
Running Feb 24 – March 6, Blindspot will bring a unique set of dance and music collaborations to Old City Philadelphia. Featuring artists such as Germaine Ingram (one of the amazing tap participants who will be featured in the How Philly Moves mural) and Gillian Grassie (who you might remember from amazing house concerts in our living room) to big names in music like MacArthur Fellow John Zorn, performing organ concerts at Christ Church Neighborhood House.
