The September 2024 Walk Around Philadelphia cycle has come to a close, but there’s several more invites for you as we wrap up the year before preparing for the February iteration of the walk!
There’ll be more stories to tell, but here’s a quick glimpse of some of what it looked like:
Huge thanks to all the walkers, everyone who accompanied us along the city’s edge, welcomed us, came out to learn more about the project at one of our events at Cherry Street Pier or cheered us on from afar!
This iteration of the walk also featured magical trail-angel intercepts on ALL TWELVE SEGMENTS with past walkers or friends of the walk coming out to surprise and support our walking groups, as well as $2,800 in stipends paid out to support participants facing financial hardship.
(You can financially support the walk to help make more of this kind of magic happen!)
This was our second fully ‘sold-out’ / waitlisted iteration of the walk, and we’re looking to increase capacity for the February 2025 run which will take place Feb 1-24 (Sat/Sun/Mondays).

As we wrap up 2024, there’s a few bonus walks, printmaking sessions, virtual events, and a special year-end celebration planned for December 14th.
