New signage on Penn’s Landing:

We’ve just installed some more Walk Around Philadelphia wayfinding signage over by Race Street Pier & Spruce Street Harbor Park as part of our program partnership with Cherry Street Pier & the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. Hooray!

These panels complement our existing wood wayfinding installations on Penn’s Landing & at Lardner’s Point Park.

They invite folks who are out on the most-walked portions of the city’s edge to get curious about what they might encounter if they explored a little bit further upstream (all the way to RAIR & Glen Foerd) or downstream (all the way to the Navy Yard & the Tastykake factory) and then all the way around the entire city border with us.

(If you’re curious what it’s like to walk the entire city border, you can read, watch or listen to find out more!)

Big thanks to Rachel for helping out with the installation, and with the organization of our shirt collection!

(Want a stylish red Walk Around Philadelphia t-shirt? You can get one of those or some of our other new swag at any of our events at Cherry Street Pier.)
