Join the Fall 2024 Walk Around Philadelphia!
We’ll be setting out to explore the city’s edge counterclockwise over four weekends in September.
PLEASE REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY for EACH segment that you plan to attend.

Register for this segment:
Walk on Sunday Sept 29th, 12pm, from the Navy Yard towards Penn's Landing.
Meet outside of the Gatehouse Café (4503 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19112), but they'll be closed Sundays so make sure you've had or brought lunch!
This segment includes a finish line celebration at Cherry Street Pier – invite your friends & family to head 5-7pm to find us at the finish line!
This segment is estimated to take roughly 10 miles and 5-7hrs. The terrain includes potential for big roundabout detour adventures and/or bushwhacking, but mostly roads and sidewalks.
Your mileage, terrain and endpoint may vary depending on choices made by your group; you can always choose to walk a partial segment & depart / get picked up along the way.
Getting to/from the start & finish:
Using SEPTA to access departure and end locations is highly recommended. See the FAQ.
Registration fees & contributions:
Walk event fees cover some of the administrative and logistical costs associated with facilitating the walk and helping make this experience more accessible to others. Please contribute the amount that feels accessible to you.
NOTE: Event fees and contributions made through this website are not tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation to a 501c3 nonprofit to support Walk Around Philadelphia, you can do so via Fractured Atlas (and we would be most grateful for your support of this project!)
Free registrations & stipends:
No one turned away for lack of funds. If finances are a barrier, please reach out to walk@jjtiziou.net or 267-702-5464. We can accommodate some free registrations and have a limited number of stipends available.

Join us at Cherry Street Pier to celebrate the completion of the 14th Walk Around Philadelphia! We'll have been walking all day completing the final segment of our 100+ mile circumnavigation of the entire city border, and we'll be delighted to see you at the finish line.
