The Modern Day Slavery Museum will be making a stop in Philly, as The Coalition of Immokalee Workers and their allies continue the Campaign For Fair Food. It will then be in New York the following week, and hitting other cities on the east coast. [full itinerary]
I saw this exhibit while in Florida in April, and it’s tremendously powerful and worth seeing. (The mobile exhibit is housed in a box-truck, the same kind that workers were kept locked in during one of the most recent cases. It’s all the more relevant given the recent slavery case here in Philadelphia. Please spread the word.
