While I was out of town last week, there was some pretty exciting news in the paper for our communities here in Philly. I’m so excited that the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board did the right thing and revoked Foxwood’s license… this is a huge victory for my friends at Casino-Free Philadelphia, who have been working tirelessly to defend our communities from predatory gambling. As far as I’m concerned, an industry whose business model involves turning people into losers has no place in the city of brotherly love.
